Problems with Otto Guevara Subsection (and others)
[edit]- I deleted the last paragraph in the Otto Guevara subsection which read "Mr. Guevara has also shown clichéd politician traits during the course of his campaign. An unofficial count of his supporters shows that 70% of them are women and when asked, they state their reason for support to be Mr. Guevara's good looks." This is obviously non-NPOV and uncited as well, but there seem to be other problems and biases within the section. For example, the mention of Guevara's foreign policy is highly speculative and the mention of his new position on foreign policy could use a citation. The writer is obviously (and understandably) upset by Guevara's newfound Machiavellianism, but his policies must be stated in a formal, well-cited manner. I'm not a Spanish speaker, so I'm not going to have access to many good sources on this, so any help would be appreciated. Also, should we change the entire article to past-tense?Atripodi 06:21, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Maybe someone should freeze the editing on this page for a little bit to stop the constant vandalism. Never mind. Jimbo 21:38, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
Someone fix this crap please!
- That's not so easy: see Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Music of Nigeria. The moment we protect this page, the vandalism moves to another one. But it is being worked on. Eugene van der Pijll 23:27, 7 February 2006 (UTC)
question...
[edit]What type of vandalism has this page suffered? What is the neutrality discussion about? LG
- If a person doesn't immediately bring up their NPOV concerns on the talk page then the tag can be removed until they bring them up here. I'm removing it. --MateoP 23:00, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Otton solis.jpg
[edit]Image:Otton solis.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Costa Rican general election, 2006. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20110717171027/http://www.aldia.co.cr/especiales/elecciones2006/arias.html to http://www.aldia.co.cr/especiales/elecciones2006/arias.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
).

What to believe?
[edit]Either the infobox or the results board is outdated, but both can't be right here.--Aréat (talk) 01:10, 11 February 2018 (UTC)
