Mark Webber

[edit]

Well just like to let you all know formula1.com may made a mistake as Mark Webber's race time is 1h 29m 40.707s, and Montoya race time was 1h 29m 20.574s doesn't that tell you then Webber actually finished the race. It says on the official site Mark Webber finished the race 26 laps behind, if he did retire the race then he should have it listed as Ritre instead of +26 laps which was the case with both BAR driver back in 2005 Australian Grand Prix (have a look for yourself on the official site. I have send an email to Formula1.com as they made mistakes in the past and I have corrected them. I also have send an email regarding this issue with M Webber. Will find out an answer in the next few days!Andreasu

Look forward to hearing what they have to say about it. Especially since this may prevent future controversies in other Formula One articles. Regards, Redux 23:52, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Well I was correct formula1.com made an error. Here is their reply email ---> On 9/28/05, Formula1.com <webmaster@formula1.com> Thank you for your email. You are correct - he did finish - his status has been amended. formula1.com See Official Formula1.com site ---> http://www.formula1.com/race/result/748/8.html Andreasu 16:34, 29 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Very well. The article stays as it is currently, then. We should also keep this at hand, in case any similar controversies ever arise in other Formular One articles (particularly those pertaining to races). Regards, Redux 14:08, 29 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
