Map caption
[edit]I don't think it is entirely clear which shade of green is intended to be considered "bold." Distinguishing between light and dark green, I think would avoid any confusion. Or maybe my astygmatism is just kicking in. -- "J-M" (Jgilhousen) 04:46, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- I'm fairly certain that the dark green counties are the ones that voted for the measure by a 2/3 margin and are thus labeled "bold green." I concur with your assessment, though; I only knew which shade was considered to be "bold" because of a general familiarity with Oregon political demographics. The phrases "light green" and "dark green" would be more understandable. —NathanDahlin 21:44, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
- I went ahead and changed the caption to "bright green" and "dark green" per this discussion. —NathanDahlin 03:42, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Efforts to repeal
[edit]Does anyone remember the movement to revoke this measure, which was put on hold when Justice McShane made his decision? Is this part of the constitution dead wood only as long as McShane's -- as well as today's Supreme Court decision -- is observed? -- llywrch (talk) 19:13, 26 June 2015 (UTC)
