Results error
[edit]There's something wrong with the results here. The championship as posted back in 2004 in Auto Action and Motorsport News had Russell second and Tander third. Leanne Tander's website also states she was third.[1] Think this needs to be looked into a bit. --Falcadore (talk) 14:31, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- Here's a re-print of the press release from what I recall.[2] --Falcadore (talk) 15:01, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- The outright points you've printed are just the class pointscores combined together, which isn't how the points were tallied. --Falcadore (talk) 15:07, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- The Outright results in the article reflect the Outright results as they were released on the PROCAR website, as referenced. Why do you say that this "isn't how the points were tallied"? GTHO (talk) 00:44, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
- The PROCAR website is wrong however as all it has done is combine the class points together instead of tallying as according to the outright pointscore. --Falcadore (talk) 01:22, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
- Perhaps this may also help. [3] --Falcadore (talk) 09:00, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
- Because it is not possible to score the points in the manner you have published them. It is not possible using the pointscore system you've placed immediately above the table to score the same points in each class as the outright pointscore. If you don't understand the math, then say so. It is more than obvious the data is wrong, I have provided you the correct points from an official source so I will shortly make the appropriate corrections. --Falcadore (talk) 23:09, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
