1. It is reasonably well written.

   I went through the article and fixed some of the inconsistencies with the spelling out of numbers.

   I found no problems here.

   No edit wars, etc.:

   No history of edit warring

6. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.

   Not a deal-breaker, but I think the Michael Schumacher picture would best be placed in the post-race section.

7. Overall:

   Pass/Fail:

   The only thing I would change is the placement of the Schumi picture. Other than that, there are no problems with the article. I hereby give 2000 Japanese Grand Prix a pass. It's now a Good Article.--Nascar king 18:23, 6 April 2015 (UTC)
