Intro rewrite & expansion
[edit]I have added an introduction to the article now, however, it essentially says the same things as the main body. This is due to the fact that the article is very light on detail. That was my fault as I did not have much in the way of source material when I wrote the article. Does anyone have access to some other sources (other than AWM)? I believe there is a history of the 7th Division that might help - Silent Seventh by Mark Johnston. If anyone feels that they want to have a crack at fixing this article, that would be great as I don't think there is much more I can add without more sources. Cheers. Query about decorations
[edit]I have to question the figures for decorations for this unit. Only four MMs seems very small compared to other similar units - i.e. 2/6th Cavalry Commando Regiment (Australia)] and 2/9th Cavalry Commando Regiment (Australia). These are the figures AWM provides, but I suspect that these are just the headquarters, not the individual commando squadrons below the headquarters. Not sure, though.
