Informal interview style
Someone deleted this line that I wrote: "It is known for its informal interviews, at least when compared to the more common talking head style interviews seen at GameSpot or IGN." ...saying it is "is entirly opinion based and not factually based".
Actually, it IS based on fact. GameSpot and IGN interviews are clearly more formal in style. It usually features the interviewies in front of a poster of the game or in front of a screen showing the game. GameSpot often even cuts out the questions so that the subject is the one person we see.
1UP Show's interviews on the other hand are often done in a public setting with the interviewers visible on screen. Several interviews were done with the interviewees sitting on a couch and drinking beer (see 1UP's Peter Moore interview).
If you thought it was biased maybe you should read the sentence again. Technitai 19:41, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
Actually...
The problem was more likely because there was an unnecessary comparison between sites which can affect your neutral point of view that you should always aim for. Lucavious 19:20, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Should this page actually refer to Luke Smith as whiny in such a matter of fact way?

criticism
Shouldn't it have a criticism cause it has gotten alot of criticism from that MGS4 going to Xbox sparking the little 360 feud.
- I've noticed 1UPs somewhat leftist views... Though Wikiedia is aswell so... --Kurtle (talk) 15:52, 15 February 2011 (UTC)
Italics
Any objection to switching the title to italics? I'm looking at WP:ITALICS, which says:
Online magazines, newspapers, and news sites with original content should generally be italicized
