[edit]In 15 April 2006, unsigned user 205.188.117.73 has introduced this section, but since then it has been left unfinished and points only to general dates. I place it here, in case he plans to develop it further. Hoverfish 18:48, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

1999 DisneyToon Studios Movies
[edit]After the success of Pocahontas, Tarzan, and The Little Mermaid, here are 4 DisneyToon Studios movies:
- 1. Belle's Magical World is released on Video on February 9, 1999
- 2. Hercules is released in theatres on June 25, 1999 and re-released in theatres on November 19, 1999
- 3. Pocahontas: Journey to a New World is released on Video on August 24, 1999
- 4. Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas is released on Video on November 9, 1999
Note: Hercules is the #3 animated film of all-time produced by DisneyToon Studios and released in theatres twice in 1999, once in June and once in November. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:3D09:757B:A600:71B4:41E4:FADC:DA9B (talk) 16:50, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
Highest grossing list
[edit]Am I misreading the sources for the top 10 or is there not a discrepancy? The Numbers source has the list that’s featured on the page, but Box Office Mojo has different rankings. For example, Austin Powers is not in the top 10 on BOM. Rusted AutoParts 14:31, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
- Neither is The Mummy. The Box Office Mojo chart is wrong. As you can see at the BOM entry for The Mummy, it grossed $416 million (virtually identical to the figure at The Numbers), but doesn't show up in the chart. These errors have been popping up in Box Office Mojo for 3/4 years now. The issue is documented at WP:BOXOFFICE#Box Office Mojo. In my opinion it should be deprecated as a reliable source, but the problem is The Numbers isn't that great either which would create a data gap. Usually the errors can be ironed out by comparing the two, but it's not great for verification purposes, as you have just discovered for yourself. Betty Logan (talk) 14:40, 3 November 2023 (UTC)
