Side question regarding Villeneuve`s loose tire

Did it hurt spectators? I mean a tyre carrying that much speed could easily become a massive threat for the well being of people standing nearby. 2003:DA:C70D:1500:8197:C591:6ADE:175F (talk) 04:05, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

According to https://tentenths.com/forum/showthread.php?t=36701, the catch-fencing caught the wheel/tyre so it didn't make it into the crowd. DH85868993 (talk) 08:24, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
