Proposed merge of 1996 Florida at Tennessee football game
[edit]This level of detail for games that were not bowl, conference championship or national championship games strains the WP:Notability requirements. Any content worth saving should be merged into the 1996 Florida Gators football team or Florida-Tennessee rivalry articles, and the separate game article should be deleted. Is anyone patrolling these new pages to check compliance with Wikipedia standards? Dirtlawyer1 (talk) 16:11, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
- strong support I didn't even know this article existed, and I agree that it's not notable enough for its own entry. Although one could make a case for adding a good recap of this game to the Florida-Tennessee rivalry article, it doesn't have its own section there yet. The best course would be to condense the text a bit and merge. Zeng8r (talk) 23:24, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
- The same editor also created 1996 UCLA at Tennessee football game. Jweiss11 (talk) 05:50, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
- I started the merging process with Florida-Tennessee rivalry. More revisions and references are still needed... Zeng8r (talk) 01:45, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
