The Communist Party was represented on this page as controlling, with the help of its allies, more than half of the Duma. I just edited this to say it was actually less. This is true by both the post election seat count (Bloc for USSR [1] + Communists [157] + Agrarians [20] + Power To The People [9] + Pamfilov Bloc [2] + Ribkin Bloc [3] = 192), and the Second Duma seat table (Communists [139] + Power To The People [41] + Agrarian [35] = 215). There are 450 seats, so in each case, that is less than a majority of seats. Perhaps in individual votes the Communists and their allies could prevail because other parties assisted them, but if I have the right parties as the Communists and allies parties, then in neither case did they control a majority of seats.
