Notability
[edit]I know this page is properly sourced but is it notable? Unfortunately this article seems to fall under WP:NEWS. What does everyone else think? I'm tempted to PROD it. Meatsgains (talk) 03:53, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
@Meatsgains: Well this article is notable in the sense that every year, people in the valley remember the men that were killed in the Kupwara massacre, news are published on the newspapers across the valley. No other articles on wikipedia about massacres in Jammu and Kashmir are remembered every year. The Kupwara massacre is remembered because it happened on 27 January. The day followed by Republic day of India. So on the Republic day every year, people also remember what happened on the day next to it and its root cause was also the "Strike on the Republic day" by the people of Kupwara.
