Associated Press story

While looking for additional sources, I found an Associated Press story in the Los Angeles Times, March 24, 1991, page A14, through Newspapers.com. There are several facts in that story that directly contract the information presented here. First, according to the AP story, the plane was flying FROM Navoi TO Tashkent, and crashed while landing in Tashkent. Second, the story says that the plane belonged to the Uzbek Civil Aviation Department, and not the state Aeroflot airline. The identical story also ran in numerous other papers on or around the same date. RecycledPixels (talk) 01:20, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
