Link to Films or Books?
[edit]As I've been tapping through some of these links, I've noticed that sometimes it's the page for book on which the film is based, rather than the page for the film itself that shows up. Which is preferred?
Given that it's 1990s in film I suggest that it should be the page for the film that is linked. However, I don't want to start going through homologising the links only for the community to disagree on that point.

- I would agree and I don't think anyone would have a problem with fixing the links. -user:hsxeric
- There are some mistakes in the highest-grossing films. — Preceding unsigned comment added by T-burton-90 (talk • contribs) 13:19, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
"List of films" or "List of years in film" for an article about a decade in film?
[edit]I have this question regarding articles like this one. Do we really need lists like the one in this particular article? It is bulky and it is almost of no use other than to find out which '90s films start with the letter A, or B, or C, etc. For me, the lists are provided and detailed well enough in the individual years in films that they only need to be linked in this article to provide readers an opportunity to check out the individual films of the decade. Box Office chart is inconsistent.
[edit]Similar to the 1980s chart, editors can't seem to agree whether to use original release numbers (ex: Titanic) or lifetime gross numbers (ex: Seven). Also, beware of Box Office Mojo's incomplete info for international numbers especially for the 20th century. ShiranuiAensland (talk) 21:23, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
