- "The 1986 Jamaica floods killed 50 people in the country, comparable to flooding that occurred in June 1979. " remove the killed 50 people about to make it less wordy. YE Pacific Hurricane 20:27, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- Disagreed, it's pretty relevant, but I did remove the instance at the end of the paragraph, per below. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 22:03, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- "The floods left 2,000 Jamaicans homeless and killed 50 people in the country." Second part is redundant as it stands, but if you address, the above comment, this comments takes care of itself. YE Pacific Hurricane 20:27, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- If there were also floods in other islands, I'd at least consider re-titling this to 1986 Grater Antilles floods. YE Pacific Hurricane 20:27, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- Ehh, but it was worst in Jamaica, and not everyone is familiar with the term "Greater Antilles". --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 22:03, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- Yea, not sold on the idea either. YE Pacific Hurricane 22:08, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- Ehh, but it was worst in Jamaica, and not everyone is familiar with the term "Greater Antilles". --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 22:03, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- I'd add more details about Andrew. When did it die? YE Pacific Hurricane 20:27, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- Why? Andrew was only peripherally connected to the flood event. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 22:03, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- Any aftermath for the other islands than Jamaica? YE Pacific Hurricane 20:27, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
- ReliefWeb didn't have anything, and it's difficult to get long term aftermath for non-hurricane that weren't that significant in a country. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 22:03, 20 January 2013 (UTC)
