1978 sponsor?

@BennyOnTheLoose: We have the sponsor as the Daily Mirror, but snooker.org has the Daily Mail. I have been unable to ascertain which is correct. Any idea? Alan (talk) 12:19, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's clear from contemporary sources (eg https://www.newspapers.com/article/the-guardian/159214567) that it was the Daily Mirror. Typo in snooker.org Nigej (talk) 12:55, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
