Help appreciated.

The claim that the 1975 event was canceled and replaced "by a one-off World University Championships in Athletics" may have come from here [1], but it isn't widely supported. Notably, the FISU (the organizing entity) history [2] makes reference to "8th Summer Universiade - Rome, Italy".--SPhilbrick T 15:03, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
