This quote "especially by East Germany which was already classified and threatened not to appear at the World Cup event." I have difficulties to believe. Normally the GDR-state didn't care much about Football, but as it was hosted in West Germany GFR , the communist sport bosses decided to make a real effort in order to qualify. And as they did, why would they threathen to not participate. (beside the point, but still, East Germany defeated West Germany 1-0 , goal scored by Jürgen Sparwasser) I can manage Spanish, but still doubt this "La decisión de la URSS fue apoyada por países-satélite, en especial por Alemania Oriental que ya estaba clasificada y amenazaba con no presentarse al evento mundialista.
