- "The fourth hurricane and ninth tropical storm of the annual season, t" "annual season" to "annual hurricane season". YE Pacific Hurricane 16:23, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed--12george1 (talk) 21:59, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- "Shortly thereafter, it transitioned into an extratropical cyclone on October 17." no need for "Shortly thereafter," when you mention the date. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:23, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- Guess not, but it was literally less than an hour later.--12george1 (talk) 21:59, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- " Hurricane force winds were observed throughout Newfoundland, which caused damage to structures, though mostly limited to broken windows." to "Hurricane force winds were observed throughout Newfoundland, resulting in broken windows." or something like that. There is no need for "caused damage to structures". YE Pacific Hurricane 16:23, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- Eh, I sorta disagree. There were some damaged structures, so it should be mentioned in the lede.--12george1 (talk) 21:59, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- " "subtropic storm" " you mean "subtropical storm" here, right? YE Pacific Hurricane 16:23, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- Actually, no. I was quoting the source (which was actually a quote from another source). On page 969 of this document, it says, "The cyclone in the southwest Atlantic was classified as a 'subtropic storm' of the Kona type by the NHC on Wednesday, October 14..."--12george1 (talk) 21:59, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- "Spiral cloud bands and an eye feature was observed on radars as the hurricane bypassed the island. The warm core persisted into October 17, which indicated that the hurricane was fully tropical for at least 30–36 hours.[1] " link to radar and change "was" to "were. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:23, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed--12george1 (talk) 21:59, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- " Simultaneously, a radio bulletin by the Naval Communications Station Washington, D.C. Transmitter (NSS) at 1200 UTC noted that the storm had hurricane characteristics. Despite this, the National Hurricane Center did not name the storm. " This shoudl be tweaked to " Although a radio bulletin by the Naval Communications Station Washington, D.C. Transmitter (NSS) at 1200 UTC noted that the storm had hurricane characteristics the National Hurricane Center did not name the storm." YE Pacific Hurricane 16:23, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed--12george1 (talk) 21:59, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- "By 1800 UTC, a cold front began impacting the circulation of the hurricane,[1] " link to atmospheric circulation. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:23, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed--12george1 (talk) 21:59, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- "A riot started by the recurrence of vandalism and arson plagued the island for two weeks leading up to the storm." what does this have to the with anything? YE Pacific Hurricane 16:23, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- In the next sentence, it states that, "However, merchants and police were forced to ease their anti-riot efforts to board up their windows." Because I had just that piece of information, I was scolded in the previous GAN because it was a "cliffhanger".--12george1 (talk) 21:59, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- Cut back on rainfall totals. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:23, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- Better?--12george1 (talk) 21:59, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- Make Ref 3, 4, and 7 first/last names consistent. YE Pacific Hurricane 16:23, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
- I can't. Reference #7 is a template.--12george1 (talk) 21:59, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
