I am cousin to a 1969 "Good Luck Charm" whom was appointed batboy by Player's on the 1969 Tulsa Golden Hurricane in the first game in 1969 C.W.S. in Omaha playing U.C.L.A. June 13,1969 a broken bat brought the relationship between Tulsa Player's and turned batboy Gilbert Gandera whom was 10 years old at the time U.C.L.A. had big lead on Tulsa going into the 7th BUT with help of good luck Charm 10year old boy Gilbert Gandera Tulsa rallied and pull a thriller extra ending game winning (6-5) and getting approved batboy after that game Gilbert was even getting a bus ride home from the Tulsa Player's on 10th Street in Omaha as Gilbert live on the way where the Tulsa was staying at hopefully someone Tulsa Player's or coach's can remember this story and related?
