[edit]Noting here (as it took me a while just then to figure it out):
- Merv Thackeray (IND) stayed in place
- Tom Aikens (NQLP, treated as IND) stayed in place
- Adair(->Lab), Walsh(->Lab) and Coburn(->Country) (INDs) retired, replaced as indicated. (-3 IND, +2 LAB, +1 COU)
- Keith Wright (LAB) defeated Rex Pilbeam (LIB) in Rockhampton South (-3 IND, -1 LIB, +3 LAB, +1 COU)
- Edgar Baldwin (LAB) replaced the Country member for Logan (no idea if defeated or retired) (-3 IND, -1 LIB, +4 LAB, 0 COU)
- Several seats stayed within the same party but had a new member. In Wavell, Dewar left the Libs and was defeated by the Lib candidate.
The numbers are out by 1 from 1966 as Jim Blake (LAB) won the by-election to replace Jack Pizzey (COU), who died in office. Someone with access to papers may wish to follow this up further. Orderinchaos 10:15, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
