Proposed change of lead image
[edit]- There are no images of Egyptair/Misrair/United Arab Airlines Ilyushin Il-18s available at Wikimedia, and not too many that exist in the wider world either.
- Hence this article has compromised and used what is a good image of an Il-18, but it shows a LOT - Polish Airlines aircraft, in a very recognisable scheme. This is most unfortunate, and does not reflect well on LOT.
- A possible more neutral alternative is this image of a Yemen Ilyushin, in a scheme not entirely different from that of United Arab Airlines at the time of the Aswan crash. From a distance, or via thumbnail, the actual identity of this Ilyushin is less discernible. In fact, even when you close in on the titles, it refers to Yemen Arab Republic Aviation, which isn't really one thing or another, although the aircraft was allegedly operated by Yemen Airways who, coincidentally, had an operating agreement with United Arab Airlines at the time of the Aswan crash.
