Because only 30 ward contests are listed in the contemporary newspaper coverage, it suggests the councillors in the other seats were returned without contest. At the newspaper reports of the 1970 election, for example, there are nineteen wards named which aren't mentioned in 1967 (and I haven't come across any evidence yet that the Glamorgan County Council elections were any more frequent than triannually).
