Inaccurate reference to 'previous general election'
[edit]The article incorrectly states that the 1950 general election was the general election that preceded the 1965 by-election. 1964 was the general election that preceded the by-election.

Alexander Pringle
[edit]According to this link, Alexander Pringle was 45 and the son of a Liberal MP. This would fit with the Wikipedia article on Alexandra Pringle, where it states her father was born in 1920 and was the youngest son of William Pringle.
Does anyone know if this is a great coincidence or if this Alexander Pringle is the son of William Pringle? FieldOfWheat (talk) 10:42, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
