RS for votes
[edit]Do we have a better source for this vote numbers? What makes this tripod site a reliable source? --生け花 13:30, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
- For a start, the African Elections Database is used as a source by the Electoral Institute for the Sustainability of Democracy in Africa, a pro-democracy NGO that sends monitors to elections in Africa. Number 57 17:06, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
Referendum question
[edit]The article at French constitutional referendum, 1958 implies that the same question, "Approuvez-vous la Constitution qui vous est proposée par le Gouvernement de la République?", was asked in all the colonies as well as in metropolitan France, but this doesn't mention independence, whereas this article says that the choice was between independence and the new constitution. What exactly was asked? --Taejo|대조 21:45, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
- As far as I'm aware, independence was not specifically on the ballot paper, but it was what would happen if the constitution was rejected. Number 57 22:14, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
