Stranahan score

[edit]

Some sources like http://golfmajorchampionships.com/year?year=1953&tournament=1 and https://www.golfstats.com/search/?yr=1953&tour=&tournament=Masters&submit=go have Frank Stranahan's first round as 73. Other sources like the Majors of Golf have it as 72. Contemporary sources give 72 (eg https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=AcdRAAAAIBAJ&sjid=iWoDAAAAIBAJ&pg=5408%2C3620515), so I'm assuming 72 is correct. This means that we should have 2xT14 and 5xT16 rather than 14 and 6xT15. Mostly we conform to this anyway. However: In 1953 Masters Tournament#Past champions in the field Sam Snead is T16 but in Sam Snead#Results timeline we had T15. I have changed similar errors elsewhere. Being an amateur this error had no effect on prize money. Nigej (talk) 13:31, 24 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

More differences

[edit]

More differences for Robert Sweeny Jr. 300 or 298 and Dick Chapman 300 or 299. 2xT34, 8xT36 becomes 3xT34, 37, 6XT38. Nigej (talk) 18:07, 25 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

And Don Cherry 301 or 302. 2xT44, 4xT46 becomes 44, 5xT45. Nigej (talk) 18:26, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
