Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : * Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) * Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. * Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."

I am not sure that the statement "For the first time since 1909 the All-Ireland final was played at a venue other than Croke Park" is correct. The article on the 1911 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship Final states that it was played at "Fraher Field, Dungarvan" in 1912. I realise that there is an issue in that this was not the final that should have been played in that year. The match was supposed to be between Kilkenny and Limerick, but this was never played and in the end Limerick refused to play in a rescheduled match resulting in a second rescheduling with Tipperary being chosen to take their place. However I understood that this is still considered the official 1911 final and in any case the cancelled match was to have taken place in Cork rather than at what became Croke Park. I wonder if someone with better knowledge than me could clarify this? Dunarc (talk) 23:51, 6 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
