Overall this article is good, though I do have a couple issues:

"At the end of the season, Bert Freeman left Burnley after nine years at Turf Moor, during which time he had become the club's all-time leading goalscorer" Using the stadium in this sense feels odd, and you seem to do this a lot in the article. Mentioning the stadium is fine in the lead and when discussing games, but saying a player spent x years at this stadium feels false; they spent it with the team, rather, so all those should be modified.

This is fairly standard usage in the UK, but I've changed them all to avoid confusion for readers from other countries.

"Burnley picked up their first win of the season on 6 September 1920, beating Huddersfield Town 3–0 at Turf Moor with Bob Kelly, Tommy Boyle and Billy Nesbitt." With those three.. doing what? Scoring the goals?
