Title

[edit]

Since we are obviously going for a descriptive title, I suggest 1919 Polish coup d'état in Lithuania (after 1926 Lithuanian coup d'état). There were more coups attempted in Lithuania than just this one. Another one was attempted by Bermontians and "Saxon volunteers" from Germany. Renata (talk) 00:01, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If it was that year, no objection. What about the word "attempted" per Attempted coup of 1924 in Estonia? To keep it short, I don't think we need d'état in title, so that would be 1919 Polish coup in Lithuania or 1919 attempted Polish coup in Lithuania. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 00:25, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It seems that most titles in category:Coups and category:Attempted coups do use d'état. I am fine with or without "attempted," but seems "d'état attempt" is more popular scheme. Renata (talk) 00:51, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So? Renata (talk) 12:16, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have no preference to any of those titles, so I have said all I wanted. If you want to move it to a title that you think is better, feel free to do so. Be bold - you don't need my permission :) PS. But do create all redirects :) --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 15:20, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The title, as presented, is absurd and unencyclopedic. It is a mish-mash of French, English, and a total lack of understanding of proper English grammar and syntax. I would also suggest a thorough copy edit of the entire article for the same reason. Dr. Dan (talk) 02:30, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

B-class

[edit]

This only needs "supporting materials" (i.e. image or two, info box etc) to make B-class.  Roger Davies talk 13:39, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Confirming B-class for WP:POLAND. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 05:01, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

GA class

[edit]

I wonder if this article is ready for a GA nomination? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 18:43, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No objections, so let's nom it. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 21:05, 17 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
