Puzzled
[edit]Two questions:
In the 'History' section, para 1: "the squadron engaged in the Air Defense of the San Fransisco area as well as a RTU until the end of 1943." What is a "RTU" ? The only one I know is 'Returned to Unit'.
Also in 'History', para 3: "... when Brooks was transfered to SAC". Who is, or was, 'Brooks' ? It would be far more clear if he was introduced along the lines of: 'Major Brooks, the squadron commander' or something like it.
