Ungrammatical sentence; who chose electors?
[edit]I have removed the following sentence, " The state legislature chose, or electors to the Electoral College, who voted for president and vice president. ", which makes no sense. Looking through the edit history, the article originally said voters chose the electors, which was then changed to the state legislature chose the lectors. In the course of the change, the sentence ceased to be grammatical. Not knowing who chose the electors, I am unable to make the sentence both correct and grammatical. I leave it here, so that an editor who does have sources on the vote can resolve the factual question, edit the sentence appropriately, and then place it back in the article MayerG (talk) 16:36, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
