Revert move

[edit]

G'day BilledMammal. This page should return to being disambiguated with (Wehrmacht). Any 181st Division should be disambiguated. There is plenty of scope for disambiguation, but in particular there was the Red Army 181st Rifle Division (rifle and infantry relate to very similar formation structures and roles), but also the 181st Armed Police Mobile Division which was previous known as the Korean War-vintage 181st Division (part of the 60th Army), which was also an infantry formation. It was redesignated as the 180th in 1969 and back to the 181st in 1985, all of this time as an infantry division. It only became an armed police division in 1996. The removal of disambiguation from what are otherwise pretty generic article titles is unhelpful, and should only be done after an RM notified on the Milhist talk page so experienced editors can chime in or possible issues. @Peacemaker67: I addressed the issue with the Chinese division with this edit, but when I made this move I had forgotten about the Rifle Divisions; I have been working backwards to correct the articles that should not have been moved due to their existence, but I had not reached this article yet. I'll revert both and create a disambiguation page at 181st Division. BilledMammal (talk) 13:40, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
