  • an aviation regiment of the Soviet Air Defense Forces Fighter needs to be linked somewhere in the lede, so change aviation to fighter and link it here.
  • Link interceptor, squadron, flight, Lenino station, political officer, ace, Warsaw, Anju, fighter-bomber, bomber
  • Always identify what kind of aircraft it is on first reference. Forex Ju 88 bomber, etc. And add manufacturer as well. Forex Lockheed F-80 Shooting Star.
  • regiment received a squadron of 15 pilots from Should probably rephrase as "received 15 pilots as reinforcements from..." unless they came over as a complete squadron. If they did, what happened to the other squadrons, were they disbanded?
  • This was a complete squadron of MiG-3 qualified pilots, I believe, based on my interpretation of the cited Osprey book, presumably transferred to the 177th to assist with the conversion to the MiG-3.
