The result of the move request was: moved to 160th Field Artillery Regiment (United States). Favonian (talk) 18:10, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
160th Field Artillery Regiment → NewName –160th Field Artillery Regiment (United States) → 160th Field Artillery Regiment – Technically incorrect--This change would be in keeping with other military unit page naming and avoid ambiguity with other nations' units. Question
[edit]- Question: Is the article about the regiment or its first battalion? The "Overview" section and the source quoted seem to indicate the latter, in which case the title should be 1st Battalion 160th Field Artillery Regiment (United States) in keeping with other members of Category:Field artillery battalions of the United States Army. Favonian (talk) 16:54, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
Favonian: The article is, and should be, about the regiment. Currently the regiment only consists of one battalion, though at one time there were three. When I get more information about the former elements that info will be included, or, naturally, when someone else has that information, they will add it. RTO Trainer (talk) 18:03, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
