Revision Deletion

@Diannaa: Which part of the content of the first revision of this page where the new series was first expanded upon was a copyright violation? I recall nothing or the sort, and obviously this violation no longer exists with this now being expanded from a stub. Alex|The|Whovian 21:29, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

Hi AlexTheWhovian. There was originally a "Premise" section copied without attribution from Undateable. I think what happened was you used that article as a template when creating this one and forgot to remove the prose on the initial revision. -- Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:33, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
Yes, I remember now. However, I still fail to see how "copied without attribution" within Wikipedia, especially if it was then cleared out in the next revision, is a "blatant copyright violation"? Thanks! Alex|The|Whovian 21:37, 30 November 2015 (UTC)
Actually, when I did the revision deletion, the content was showing as being copied from elsewhere online, IMDb. (Of course they copied from us.) I think I will just leave it revision-deleted if it's okay with you. For more information on copying within Wikipedia, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. -- Diannaa (talk) 22:10, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

Episode 4

The summary for episode 4 is currently gibberish. I haven't this yet myself so can't correct it sensibly. Maybe someone who has can fix it. 202.81.249.233 (talk) 03:25, 8 March 2016 (UTC)

I've updated episode 4's summary Gorba (talk) 05:48, 15 March 2016 (UTC)
No you didn't, you directly copied it from Hulu. Alex|The|Whovian? 05:54, 15 March 2016 (UTC)
I've revised episodes 5's summary with something original and not the official summary from Hulu.com. Gorba (talk) 06:53, 15 March 2016 (UTC)

Can someone please update episode 6 since mine keeps getting deleted. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.49.12.22 (talk) 18:12, 28 March 2016 (UTC)

IT is not yours, you're copying from another site. It will be added in time. Alex|The|Whovian? 21:29, 28 March 2016 (UTC)

Date.

Why is America the only country in the world to write the date this way? It is very confusing for the rest of the world. Please answer this time instead of deleting.213.205.252.242 (talk) 08:15, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

1) This should be discussed at a more appropriate place, as it doesn't pertain to this series. 2) Given that most scripted series are American, the MDY format is actually more common than the DMY format. 3) It doesn't matter why they do it (why do they use Farhenheit or the system of imperial units?), but they do, and hence so does Wikipedia for American-based content. Alex|The|Whovian? 08:21, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
They do not use the Imperial measuring system, for example, an American gallon is about 6 Imperial pints. 31.120.124.223 (talk) 14:30, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
Still not about the topic at hand. Stick to the article. Alex|The|Whovian? 14:33, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

"disputes"

One sentence in the article reads: "Demme announced that he had withdrawn from the project, after disputes with King over what to include in the script." I checked the source and found that there was nothing to indicate "disputes", which connotes hostility in disagreement, so I replaced the word "disputes" with the more neutral word "disagreeing". The edit was reverted by an editor who described the edit as "'softening' of valid phrases". I agree that it was "softening" (that was the point as described in my edit summary) but not with the "valid". The term is not supported by the source. They did "disagree", but there is no evidence of a "dispute". 99.192.89.121 (talk) 13:59, 3 June 2016 (UTC)
