Order of parliament

[edit]

@Pahlevun: Hello my friend. «34th Iranian Majlis» neither official, nor common name. It should move to «10th Islamic Consultative Assembly‎» according to WP:COMMONNAME and WP:OFFICIALNAMES. Benyamin-ln (talk) 12:36, 12 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. That kind of naming would be very confusing, because an ordinary English reader does not recognize the name Islamic Consultative Assembly‎ or National Consultative Assembly‎. I would rather using something that sounds intelligible, because these names are rough translations from Persian and are not common in English. I suggest something like 10th legislature of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the article's name (like 15th legislature of the French Fifth Republic), as well as keeping the consistent numbering since 1906 for the template and as a mention in the article, like List of Prime Ministers of Iran we do not need to reset the numbering for the same institution, in my opinion. Good. This preamble may be at Lead of Article, But the name of article should be move to another names This name couldn't be found anywhere. Iran's tenth Majlis used by Brookings Institution, 10th Islamic Consultative Assembly used by Center for Middle Eastern Strategic Studies and 10th course of Islamic Consultative Assembly used by Icana News Agency (as official agency of parliament).
