A Question of Lineage???
[edit]The 109th Infantry Regiment does not exist as it did. The two most recent BRACs have realigned it into 55th Heavy Brigade Combat Team http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/agency/army/28id-55bde.htm Its HQ is http://wikimapia.org/#lat=41.418349&lon=-75.647746&z=17&l=0&m=b http://wikimapia.org/20990462/55th-Heavy-Brigade-Combat-Team. Hope that helps. johncheverly 20:28, 28 January 2013 (UTC)

Presidential Unit Citation???
[edit]Why is it missing??? http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/agency/army/1-109fa.htm
"In 1942, the unit entered World War Two as the 109th Field Artillery Battalion. The unit served in Europe from France to Germany. During the Battle of the Bulge, the battalion fought valiantly to halt the German Ardennes Offensive. Once its guns were destroyed, the 109th fought as infantry, often in vicious hand-to-hand combat. For its valor, the battalion was awarded a Presidential Unit Citation, the highest decoration a unit can receive."User:JCHeverly 03:05, 7 August 2013 (UTC)
