Change of Byzantine Emperor?
[edit]In 1057, a group of rebellious generals marched up against Constantinople, and after a short civil war ousted the emperor Michael Stratiotikos. One of these generals, Isaac Komnenos, then ascended the throne. (see relevant articles)
