Merge proposal
[edit]This song should be merged into the XXL (band) page. Since their 2000 15th place showing on the Eurovision song contest XXL has not made additional news, and this song is directly related to their single season on the show, and is included in almost all mentions of the band. The two, the band and the song, should be considered as a single entity for the sake of a Wikipedia article, with this page being made into a redirect page to XXL (band). - I disagree based on the reasoning given. The song is what's famous and (at least given what's readily available information-wise) the band is not. Thus, if anything, the merge should go the other way. The point being that Eurovision is, when all's said and done, a song contest which throws up a large number of nonentities singing songs which go on to be remembered. It sounds counterintuitive, but that's honestly how it works. BigHaz - Schreit mich an 09:16, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
Offcourse the song should be merged to the band name and not the opposit.--Matrix17 11:35, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
- See my comments on the band's Talk page. BigHaz - Schreit mich an 11:43, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
