[edit]The following piece is misleading.
- -ić (typically replaced by "-ic" in English), pronounced "itch" in Croatian/Bosnian/Serbian, means "son of" or "by" in surnames, for example Milošević.
The actual sussix is "ević" here. Miloš -> Milošević. The issue is more complicated than that. See, e.g., Patronymic. mikka (t) 00:09, 1 October 2005 (UTC)

Yes, but does either use have an article on it or are these just definitions and thus belong only on Wiktionary? As yet, it hardly meets MOS:D, especially 1 blue link per line and no refs. Is it valid as an Etymology article rather than a dab? (I'm not suggesting that it is, as I know little about etymology, I just thought I'd raise the issue.)
