This Asteroid is Not a Centaur.

[edit]

This asteroid is not a Centaur because by definition this type of object has a semimajor axis between those of Jupiter and Neptune (Lodders and Fegley, Planetary Scientists Companion, 1998). The definition of having a perihelion less than 30 (Oxford Astronomy Emcyclopedia, 2000) would include also Pluto as a Centaur. The Data Ferret classification is wrong.--Capt.
