Wrong target?
[edit]I thinks this redirect is unhelpful and problematic. There's probably a good explanation how the distinguish hatnote at the number sign article ended up saying "the Chinese character Well-field system 井", but it's certainly because of this redirect. While the field system takes its name from this character, that's all it has to do with it. Even the current categorization is incorrect as the target doesn't "infer meaning for the symbol", but I don't see any category that would actually apply. The closest could be a name in alternative language, but it's not—that would apply if it redirected to either the surname Jing or the constellation Well. Redirecting to one of these two would be better. Anyone linking to this redirect as it is now would necessarily create MOS:EGG and I can't imagine anyone searching for the field system using just this single character. – MwGamera (talk) 13:56, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
