In my opinion the outstanding feature of the $$\theta_{10}$$ is not that is it is degenerate, but that it is a cuspidal degenerate representation. In fact, there are several degenerate representations of general linear groups, but not so many which are at the same time also cuspidal.129.206.26.108 (talk) 11:59, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
