Savickas's weight
[edit]it states that Savickas "competes at 155 kg (342 lb)". That is WAY out of date. Savickas probably has not competed at that weight since 2004. Since 2005 his weight has been in the range of 350-400 pounds (more closer to 400 pounds). According to the American Strongman Corporation at the 2006 arnold he was 380 pounds (http://www.americanstrongman.org/articles/detail.asp?ArtID=121) and at the 2007 arnold (http://www.americanstrongman.org/articles/detail.asp?ArtID=202) he was 400 pounds. There are other sources I could track down that have listed his weight beyond 155 KG in other comps. He just is not that "light" anymore. —Preceding unsigned comment added by K2karakoram (talk • contribs) 22:11, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Log list record
[edit]Ok Savickas recently increased the world record log lift to 210 KG which I changed including a link to Ironmind.com but I see it was reverted back to the 207.5 KG? Why? K2karakoram (talk) 01:50, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
Drugs? Health?
[edit]Would be nice if article indicated steroid usage in this type of athlete. Also, what types of health problems do these extreme lifters have? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.85.14.106 (talk) 05:43, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
According to him, he hasn't used steroids, but has very strict diet with many many calories and various protein supplements. Aren't athletes tested for steroid usage regularly? Genes play big part too, since regular kids at 17 won't beat experienced strongmen. As for health, he is not old enough for very obvious problems to start appearing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.251.49.24 (talk) 13:24, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
Neutral POV
[edit]This article, especially the introductory paragraph, sounds a bit more like promotional material than a biography. Perhaps moving the awards and claims of "greatest" into a subsection would help a bit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kjelderg (talk • contribs) 16:10, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

The article is a rough collection of info. First, a picture and/or many links would be helpful to get it to start-class. Then the info should be organized to get to B-class. After that, it should be expanded. Green caterpillar 20:26, 11 September 2006 (UTC) |

Olympics
[edit]why has he never competed at the Olympics? Only 1 reason comes to mind — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C4:201:E700:68D9:5B1E:88E4:A692 (talk) 10:46, 21 November 2016 (UTC) Because the sports that he competes in are not contested at the Olympics — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.41.253.117 (talk) 03:25, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
