Żurrieq Streets that show the Roman Catholic Religion Faith
[edit]This needs to be explained, or removed as WP:NN. Something notable might be, "Żurrieq is known for …". As it is, I don't see anything remarkable that is different from anywhere else in Malta. I could be wrong, but it should be documented. 「ѕʀʟ·✎」 22:09, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
Question. Żurrieq is the town where a very famous YouTube channel called SIROSUKI World (http://www.youtube.com/shirosuki). His name is Oliver Tabone, originally from Birżebbuġa, but lives in Żurrieq now. This could be something the town is famous for, I would think (42.4K followers). Sophisticated channel, well shot and edited, centering around raisin a little family of Shiba Inu dogs. I have very little experience with providing content to Wikipedia still, so thought I'd ask. Wied iz-Zurrieq
[edit]The article Um El Faroud mentions a place called Wied iz-Zurrieq. Is this article a suitable place to link that name too? Derek Andrews (talk) 15:00, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
- No, Wied iż-Żurrieq is in nearby Qrendi. Xwejnusgozo (talk) 16:10, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

- @Diannaa: Could it be that the Żurrieq Local Council copied material from Wikipedia onto its website? The deleted content was added in October 2008, yet I cannot find evidence of the Żurrieq Local Council website from before July 2014. --Xwejnusgozo (talk) 15:03, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
- I thought so too at first, but hunting through early revisions of the Wikipedia page history, I discovered that the source webpages were formerly at a different location, for example see https://web.archive.org/web/20020628015911/http://www.zurrieq.gov.mt/pages/archaelogy.htm, archived in 2002, which matches the content I removed. See the page history for further archived urls from zurrieq.gov.mt. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 20:15, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
- @Diannaa: OK, you are right. When I'll have time I'll try to rewrite the article without any copyvios. --Xwejnusgozo (talk) 21:33, 20 March 2018 (UTC)
