[edit]I have redirected this stub article to Sangha as it treats the entire topic of Buddhist monks / nuns in more detail.--Sepa 20:47, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
merge
[edit]I just reverted your merge, you're going much too quick.
A merge is not suitable, and not necessary. monk and nun are also separate articles, and different rules apply to them. Lastly: the 'people of the pali canon' tamplate metnions the samanera and samaneri seperate. Just be kool, wait a minute, and see what other people think. Greetings, Sacca 10:49, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
It is important that Samaneri remain as a separate entity, as such is in accordance with the Buddhist Cannon. Bhikkhuni Dr. Lee (USA) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.173.34.218 (talk) 15:38, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
