Ýolöten Gas Field → Iolotan Gas Field — Official move request per Bejnar's comment. Beagel (talk) 18:49, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
Beagel created this article on 25 December 2006 with the title "Iolotan Gas Field", the name that it is usually referred to in English language sources. On 17 October 2008, Garliyev, without comment, moved the article to "Ýolöten Gas Field", where "Ýolöten" is, most likely, the correct Turkmen spelling of the name. After due consideration, and re-reading Wikipedia:Naming conventions (use English), Wikipedia:Naming conventions (geographic names), and Wikipedia:Naming conventions (places); I have restored the original title. While "Yoloten gas field" was used in two sources, no English language sources used "Ýolöten" with the diacritical marks, except Wikipedia and derivatives. By far, the common English form was "Iolotan Gas Field". --Bejnar (talk) 19:07, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
