What is this??? Who says this? Evidence? Reports? He was destined to be a superstar but in 2008 he tore his ACL and didn’t play for six months. When he returned, Aşık was creating havoc in the Turkey League but, he broke his collar-bone and didn't play for two months."

I am a lifelong and current Bulls fan. As far as I know, Turkish Delight, Turkey Sub, and Asik and Destroy are NOT nicknames for Asik. The local Chicago press doesn't use them nor do either the TV or radio announcers. Perhaps they are nicknames that the editor would like to promote, but unless verified as fact they will soon be removed. Please provide the necessary references related to any Asik nicknames. I endorse this. :) There are probably dozens of nicknames for Asik floating around on message boards, but we shouldn't try to include all of them. Unless a good source is provided, I'll be removing any nicknames added to the article. Zagalejo^^^04:25, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I have heard an announcer on TV use "Turkish Delight", and "Asik and Destroy" was used on a fan made poster. I can't remember when those occurred, so they its a weak source, but there is something behind those.
Yes, Stacey King has indeed used those two nicknames you mentioned. But Stacey King says a lot of things over the course of a broadcast. We should wait until there's some evidence that the nicknames have attained widespread recognition (like "The Mailman" or "The Glove".) Zagalejo^^^
We cannot change the team membership until he has signed a contract and it's official. Talking about his intentions to join a team is fine, but per WP:CRYSTAL we must wait until it's official to change the lead and infobox. EvergreenFir(talk) Please {{re}} 00:38, 14 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
