[edit]Thank you for merging the two articles. BTW was he born in 1832 or 1833? The other article had 1832 as the French version. -- User:Docu
- According to other sources online, it was 1832. --taestell 17:55, Jun 15, 2005 (UTC)
Born in 1832?
[edit]Gaboriau was born in Saujon in 1832, according to the "Robert des Noms Propres" entry.
"Published in the Pays" sounds rather weird (which "pays" ?), and the link to "pays" as an administrative entity is certainly a mistake. AFAiK, "L'affaire Lerouge" was published in "Le Siècle", a newspaper. Another newspaper called "Le Pays" may or may not have existed, I don't know, but that's a possible source for the confusion. 62.62.174.44 (talk) 15:28, 12 May 2011 (UTC)AB

- Unfortunately, that's bloggish and is not a reliable source. Please see WP:RS for what sort of sources would be acceptable. --regentspark (comment) 20:36, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
