[edit]I think the title should be changed to Navváb. Cuñado ☼ - Talk 21:10, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
I have just added some more information onto this very short article. If any problems please contact me. Thanks, --Melaniegreyton (talk) 16:39, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Could someone reference the assertion that persian nobles called their wives Navváb?--mykgerard —Preceding undated comment added 07:23, 31 May 2009 (UTC).
Bahá'u'lláh used to address her as "Navvab," a title of great courtesy and respect, used by Persian noblemen to their wives. (Lady Blomfield, The Chosen Highway, p. 93) --Lizzie1988 (talk) 18:20, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
Based upon my limited understanding of Arabic and Persian culture, it seems to me that Lady Bloomfield could be incorrect here, even though she is a wonderful resource. Navvab means "Deputy of God". To me this infers that Her title reflects Bahá'u'lláh's own station, however I would love to see more discussion and information on this matter. --mykgerard —Preceding undated comment added 03:26, 2 July 2011 (UTC).
Khanum
[edit]So... How about a interwiki link for wiktionary page from Khanum? This is the link: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%D8%AE%D8%A7%D9%86%D9%85#Ottoman_Turkish
It will be just a wikilink. No changes in the phrase... I didn't make that wiktionary link. I found it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.135.242.14 (talk) 17:22, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
No body said anything here. I made the change. Before rejecting think about it be fair.
It is not irrelevant.
It is not confusing.
It is not changing the reference or the phrase. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.135.242.14 (talk) 18:15, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- Pretty quick on the gun there - some of us have things to do, you know? The entry is irrelevant because it's not modern usage or ancient usage that is relevant. It's 19th century Persian usage that is relevant. Smkolins (talk) 18:47, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
I have things to do too. I added the Persian usage on Wiktionary. So the entry provides the information you are calling relevant. I can enter more on wiktionary entry to provide more information about usage. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.135.242.14 (talk) 19:47, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
- It's still not germane and your arguments just don't pass muster. You've performed more than 8 reverts in a 24-hour period, and you've been reported to the admins. Regards, -- Jeff3000 (talk) 20:03, 17 November 2009 (UTC)
